Have your say small logo_600It all began with Rugby Club I – that meeting back in January when the community decided  enough was enough and we needed to do more than protest – we needed to come up with our own vision for the future of education here on the Peninsula.  That’s when Schools for the Future was born.  And the feedback  we’re getting is that people who matter are now paying attention.  So you’ll want to be at Rugby Club II, because that’s when your voice and your ideas will really start to count.  Here’s the timetable.

The public consultation on the Council’s proposals begins on March 23rd and ends on May 5th (later than previously announced).  Kate Evan-Hughes, Director for Children and Schools at the Council and Sharon Lusher, Principal of Pembrokeshire College, will be holding two public consultation meetings at St Davids City Hall.

The Council public consultation dates are:

Monday March 23rd 6.30 – 8.00pm
Wed 15 April 6.30 – 8.00pm
phone 01437 764551 to book a place

St Davids schools for the future will be holding two vital community meetings at the Rugby Club to really make our voice heard in the Council consultation.   One will be after the first Council meeting to get your feedback and discuss what should be in our proposal.  The second will be three weeks later, by which time we will have a draft community plan, with the aim of getting full community support.

The St Davids Rugby club dates are

Thursday 26 March 6.30 – 8.00pm
Thursday 16th April 6.30 – 8.00pm

It really is worth it.  Our voice is already being heard.  This is your chance to have your say.
