Schools for the Future

a community vision for 21st Century education in mid and northwest Pembrokeshire

back the plan

If you want to back the plan  the only way to make your voice heard is to  email or write to the Council directly.  A petition will not help.  Only by writing personally can you make a difference.

Whether you are aged 9 or 99 you have a voice that the Council must listen to.  If the communities of Mid and Northwest Pembrokeshire speak with one voice it will carry huge weight.

You do not have to agree with every aspect of the plan to support it.  You could write:

“As part of the statutory consultation on the future of secondary education
in mid and northwest Pembrokeshire I would like to state my support for the Schools for the Future community plan and ……

……. I prefer this bit to that

….I feel that this part is particularly important

…..I think it would be improved by the following ideas

….. I particularly support the Fishguard focus document”

Your email can be as short or as long as you want.   Give it the title:  Support for the Schools for the Future Plan.   Include your name and address,  and tell the Council your view.

the deadline is  Tuesday May 5th

email: educationconsultations@pembrokeshire.gov.uk

you can also send your response by post using the following letter.

  1. The school is one of the most important things in St Davids with out the school or the Cathederal there will be no St Davids.
Fight on do not be afraid

  2. I wholeheartedly support the 3-16 site at StDavids, plus the 6th form college and feel very strongly against the closing of the school.
